According to a map released this week by the Boston Business Journal, Westford’s population growth over the past three years rates among the highest in the Commonwealth.

With information taken from the U.S. Census Bureau, the map indicated that Westford grew by 6 percent over the past three years, outpacing all neighboring towns except for Tyngsborough, which also had a 6 percent growth rate during that time frame.

Other nearby towns with large growth rates on the map include Lunenburg (9 percent) and Concord (9 percent), a trend duplicated across much of Eastern Massachusetts.

The full map is available on the Boston Business Journal website.
