Board of Health Shares Recall Announcement on Pizzas Containing Bits of Plastic

The Westford Board of Health has share an announcement from Nestle Pizza Company of Little Chute, WI recalling four brands of their pizzas.

California Pizza Kitchen Limited Edition Grilled Chicken with Cabernet Sauce and DiGiorno Crispy Flatbread Pizza Tuscan Style Chicken have been recalled due to what is being described as an “contamination by extraneous materials.”

Additionally, DiGiorno Bianca/White Pizza and California Pizza Kitchen Crispy Thin Crust White have also been recalled after customer complaints of small plastic pieces being found in the pizzas by consumers.

The affected pizzas in the recall were produced between February 26 and March 9 of 2014.031_2013_4

Consumers with questions about the recall should contact Nestlé USA Consumer Services at 800-456-4394 or nestlepizza@casupport.com for further instructions. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., E.T. and this Saturday, May 4 from Noon to 8 p.m. E.T.
