Westford resident Rita Shipley died last week at the age of 72.
Born in Lowell, Shipley had lived in Westford since 1977, serving various roles in town at the Cameron and Frost Schools, in town hall as well as helping to establish the Roudenbush Community Center and the town’s first food bank.
