Summer is winding down, but mosquitoes are still out and about in Westford. However, so are personnel from the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project.

Better known as the CMMCP, the group will be investigating mosquito populations, potential viruses they may carry as well as possible sprayings in Westford starting on Aug. 5

Other August dates in Westford include the 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th and 28th.

Any homeowner looking to opt out of potential sprayings can call the CMMCP office at 508-393-3055 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
