#1. Happy Birthday, Westford! Yesterday, in 1729, Westford was separated from Chelmsford to become its own town.

#2. Riverbend at Cornerstone Square… will be hosting a cooking class on Oct. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The class is hosted by Nicholas Wilson, executive chef of the Cottage at Chestnut Hill.

#3. Introduction to Video Switching: Want to use a green screen? Westford CAT can show you how, as well as how to record a talk show, add graphics and titles to video and more.

The class is on Oct. 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Westford CAT’s studios at 487 Groton Rd.

The Art of Divination…. is the art of gathering information and knowledge thru metaphysical means such as tarot cards, runes, crystal balls, scrying mirrors, etc. Instructor Beth Washington will explain the true nature of divination; you will learn about everyday household items that can be used as well as traditional tools. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 7 to 9 p.m., $28/$25 for Westford residents.
