The Lowell Sun announced earlier this week that debates for the Second Middlesex District between incumbent State Representative Jim Arciero (D-Westford), Planning Board Member Dennis Galvin (R-Westford) and Arleen Martino (Unenrolled-Littleton) have been postponed.
According to the Sun report, Arciero travelled to Savannah, Ga. on Sunday night to be with his ailing father who has been diagnosed with cancer.
The Westford League of Women Voters has also announced that their debate between the three has also been postponed.
It remains unclear when the debates will be rescheduled.
