Tech Park East’s Sonus Names New Marketing Chief

Sonus has announced that interim Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing Michael Swade will be joining the company in a permanent role.

The company, which has offices in Westford on Technology Park Drive, brought Swade in after the resignation of Todd Abbott.

Abbott, the company’s former Executive Vice President of Strategy and Go-To-Market, stepped down from his position after a disappointing 2Q Earnings Report.

Prior to Sonus, Swade served as the field operations chief for videoconferencing hardware vendor Polycom as well as Lucent Technologies and Avaya.
