#1. Support Westford Academy Football.. by eating at the Ninety Nine on Oct. 21 and Chili’s on Nov. 18 as the restaurants participate in the “Dining for a Cause” program.

#2. At The Westford Museum on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. – David Brody will have a presentation, Q & A, and book signing on the “Oath of Nimrod: Giants, MK-Ultra and the Smithsonian Cover-up.” The event is free.
#3. Acme Waste Systems… will be collecting leaves for town residents on Nov. 8 and Dec. 6. The cost is $1.25 a bag with a minimum charge of $20.

#4 GOP U.S. Senate Candidate Brian Herr… will be on hand at the Westford Republican Town Committee meeting on Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m. inside the training room of the George Rogers Fire Station on Town Farm Road.

#5. Pictured… The Westford Agricultural Commission is partnering with Westford’s K-5 schools this fall to introduce students to local agriculture.
In celebration of National Food Day, Friday, Oct. 24, students in Westford’s K-5 schools will be invited to see how much noise they can collectively make in celebration of fresh food, as they take part in The Great Westford Lunch Crunch.
During normal lunch periods, students will be provided a whole, locally-sourced fresh apple, carrot or other crunchy vegetable of their caregiver’s choosing and invited to simultaneously “crunch” with their classmates.
