From Nabnasset to Forge Village, here are your Five Things for Nov. 11 and beyond in Westford.

#1. Clay, Pottery Wheel, Sculpture… beginner or advanced students, adults and teens will learn useful art by means of the potter’s wheel and will also learn sculpting and hand building.  All supplied and firings are included in cost.  Parent welcome to join with child.  Classes begin week of Nov. 13 for five weeks ($128/$125) or six weeks ($153/$150).  4:30 to 6 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m. For more details call 978-692-5511 or visit www.roudenbush.org

#2. Parents of Middle School Music Students.. There will be informational meetings on Wednesday November 12, 7 p.m. in the Stony Brook Instrumental Music Room, and Thursday, November 13, 7 p.m. in the Blanchard Instrumental Music Room A. Members of the WPS music parent organization (F.A.M.E.)

DSC_0008#3. The Nabnasset School Store Will Open on Dec. 12…. But only if volunteers can be found by Nov. 12 Anyone that’s interested can sign up on the “Sign Up Genius” on the Nabnasset School website. Once on the website, head to “For Parents” and scroll down to “PTO Volunteer” to get Sign Up Genius

#4. Pictured: The Friends of the Poor 5K Charity Walk is taking place today at St. Catherine’s, starting at 8 a.m.

#5. And A Reminder… there will be a Veterans’ Day observance at 11 a.m. on the Town Common.
