Westford Health Department Shares Recall on Chicken Nuggets

The Westford Department of Health reported last week that there has been a recall of Bell & Evans Breaded Chicken Breasts and Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets from several Massachusetts grocery stores.

Untitled-2Murry’s Inc. of Lebanon, PA said they would be recalling 31,689 pounds of the gluten free products due to fears of Staphylococcal entertoxin: a bacterium that can cause vomiting, cramps and diarrhea within 30 minutes.

Nearby grocery stores with the items include Donelan’s and Idylwilde Farms in Acton, Crosby’s and Debra’s Natural Gourmet in Concord, Butcher Boy Market in North Andover, the Market Basket in Tewksbury and two more Donelan’s locations in Lincoln and Littleton.

More information is available on the USDA website.
