Winter Storm Warning Issued For Westford Area

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for portions of New England from Wednesday at 7 a.m. until Thanksgiving at 7 a.m.

The National Weather Service is predicting a Nor’easter will impact Westford and other portions of New England over Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Expected snow accumulations range from 6 to 8 inches, with a trace of ice. However, some of the precipitation may be rain after dawn on Thursday.

Expected wind gusts will be 15 to 40 miles per hour, with poor visibilities.

Transportation information is available by dialing 511, with further resources available on the Massachusetts Department of Transportation website.
