Stonehill College’s womens’ basketball team is among the elite in the Northeast-10 Conference this year, and a Westford Academy graduate is a big reason for that.
Samantha Hyslip, a 2014 Westford Academy graduate and Grey Ghosts alumnus, was named as Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week last week after a season-high 16 points against Saint Anselm.

Hyslip has appeared in all eight games for Stonehill this season, shooting 50-percent from the field and 73.7 percent from the charity stripe while also contributing six rebounds a game off the bench.
During her time in Westford, Hyslip scored over 1,000 points and was a three-time All-Dual County League selection as well as a two-time Dual County League MVP.
Stonehill returns home on Saturday, January 3, when it returns to Conference play to host Saint Michael’s College at 1:30 p.m.
