Lunch and Learn at Bridges by EPOCH at Westford (Feb. 10)
WESTFORD – Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will host the lunch and learn, “Dementia & Sleep,” on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at noon. Though scientists don’t completely understand why, sleep habits often change for individuals living with Alzheimer’s. At this lunch and learn, a memory impairment specialist will discuss the connections between dementia and sleep and provide helpful tips on dealing with this challenge.

Caregiver Support Group at Bridges by EPOCH at Westford (Feb. 23)
WESTFORD – Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will host a support group for dementia caregivers on Monday, Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m. A memory impairment specialist will lead the discussion on the challenges of caring for someone with memory impairment. The group will enjoy a meal while sharing ideas and challenges to help and encourage each other. We also welcome you to bring the person you care for to enjoy dinner with our residents while the support group meets.

WESTFORD – Bridges by EPOCH at Westford will host the lunch and learn, “Is it Normal Aging or Memory Loss?” on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at noon. As our loved ones age, it can hard to differentiate between memory loss that is associated with the normal aging process and memory loss that is a symptom of early stage dementia. In this presentation, a memory impairment specialist will discuss the key differences to look out for and give insight on the most common signs of early-onset dementia.
