Proposed Fire Station Recommended For Boston Road
Town Meeting voters will get a second shot at a proposed fire station on Boston Road after an analysis indicated that it was the best option for replacing a dilapidated fire station in the middle of town.
Selectmen Recommend Sticking With Current Recycling Company
Although there are concerns that IPR, the town’s current recycling company, could go out of business soon due to lower commodity prices and other issues, Town Manager Jodi Ross recommended that they are a better choice than the larger Waste Management and said the town should try to negotiate a new contract with them.
Selectmen Plan To Roll Two Meetings Into One Next Week
Due to folks in town being on vacation and a lack of a quorum later in the month, the Selectmen will combine two small meetings into one on Feb. 10.
