The Class of 2017 at Nashoba Valley Technical High School warmed up an especially cold winter.

The sophomore class held a coat drive over the winter as part of the Jordan’s Furniture Coats for Kids program, and collected enough garments to win first prize in the high-school category.
For their efforts, the class — led by president Lindsey Callan of Groton, vice president Dominic Neto of Shirley, secretary Charlotte Dufresne of Groton, treasurer Bryson Tang of Pepperell, and adviser Sheriley Farrand — received $1,000 for the school and 100 tickets to Jordan’s Furniture’s IMAX theaters.
Keeping kids warm is kind of cool. And so is Nashoba Tech.
