When it comes to the best elementary schools in Massachusetts, Westford does well, at least according to a recent report from Niche.com.
A national school ranking site, Niche.com put Westford’s three upper elementary schools into their top 100 elementary schools in the state.
The Day School led the way at #17, followed by the Crisafulli School at #24 and the Abbot School at #62.
Top honors in the state went to Lexington’s Joseph Estabrook Elementary School, which was joined by five other Lexington schools in the Top 10.
Nationally, the Day School ranked #459 in the entire country on Niche.com’s list, with the Crisafulli School ranking #582 and the Abbot School ranking #1,758.
In the website’s letter grading system, Abbot received an A while the other two upper elementary schools as well as Westford Academy and the two middle schools (Stony Brook and Blanchard) got A+ grades.
Nashoba Tech was issued a C+ while the town’s other schools were not graded.
