Julia Masson of Westford has been selected as a February Student of the Month at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Julia, daughter of John and Cheryl Masson, is a junior in the Banking/Marketing/Retail program. She is an honor-roll student and was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore. She participates in SkillsUSA and DECA, and is vice president of the Class of 2016.
Outside of school, Julia has volunteered at a local food kitchen. Through Nashoba Tech’s Cooperative Education program, Julia works every other week at Northern Bank & Trust in Littleton. Last year, she qualified for the DECA State Conference by virtue of her performance in the District Conference.
Julia was nominated by Banking/Marketing/Retail Instructor Sarah Ricard, who wrote: “She always approaches tasks big and small with a positive attitude, and has displayed a level of maturity and professionalism that is not often found within the confines of high-school walls, and even rivals some adults. Julia always volunteers at events, is willing to help out students and teachers, and has proven herself and her technical skills.”
