Just Over Two Dozen Homes Sold In Westford Over First Three Months of 2015

Despite record breaking snowfall, the first three months of the year saw just over two dozen homes sell in Westford, most at reduced prices.

According to Redfin.com, 51 properties sold in Westford from January 1 to March 31, averaging $404,046.27.

The average property on that list originally listed for an average of $442,902.50 and had an average listing price of $432,862.50 at the time of their sale. Among the homes, they averaged three bedrooms, 2.2 bathrooms; 2,069 sq. ft, and 33 years of age.

Among those 51 properties, 30 sold below asking price, with the largest cut coming at 69 Dunstable Rd., which sold for $42,900 below list price on Jan. 15. On the other end of the spectrum just a few doors down, 74 Dunstable Rd. sold for $10,000 above asking price on Jan. 2

The most expensive property on the list was 4 Macintosh Rd., which sold for $1.5 million on March 13 and the least expensive property was 46 Bandon Cir., which sold for $166,500.

Among realtors, there was a three-way tie for who sold the most homes, with Keller Williams- Merrimack Valley, Coldwell Banker-Westford and LAER Realty each selling six homes during that time period according to available data.
