Nashoba Youth Hockey has begun the Bill Richards Memorial Scholarship, to be given to a local high school hockey player that has displayed commitment to their community and the sport of hockey.

The scholarship is named in honor of Bill Richards of Mickey’s Sports on Concord Road in Westford. Richards died earlier this year from a sudden heart attack after 15 years of serving various youth sports programs in the area.
