Red Hat Stocks Rise After Beating Q4 Revenue Estimates

Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) announced late last month that it has beaten Q4 revenue estimates by $7.5 million, leading to a 3.75 percent.

The company, whose R&D headquarters are located at the corner of Concord Road and Littleton Road in Westford, reported $464 million in revenue over the last quarter of FY’ 15, a 15.9 percent year over year increase from FY’ 14.

For the first quarter of FY’16, projected revenue is expected at $469 million to $474 million, with expected earnings per share at $0.41.

Over the entire fiscal year, guidance is for revenue of $1.99 billion to $2.02 billion with expected earnings per share of $1.79 to $1.82.

As of April 7, Red Hat stocks are selling at $75.86 a share, up from $66.83 one month earlier.
