Lowell General Hospital, which has a location at Cornerstone Square in Westford, is encouraging Westford residents to visit an upcoming art exhibit it is sponsoring.

ALIVE, featuring photographs by artist Kim Hak, will be open on weekends in June at the Ayer Lofts Art Gallery on Middle Street in Lowell.

The exhibit looks at photos and objects from Cambodia between 1975 and 1979, the years of the Khmer Rouge regime.

“Lowell General Hospital is proud to support this compelling exhibit,” says Amy Hoey, Chief Operating Officer of Lowell General Hospital and Circle Health. “We were honored to recently establish a relationship with Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE and Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital in Cambodia in late 2014 to form what is often called a “sister hospital” relationship. We look forward to working together to share best practices from our respective organizations, and helping each other better meet the unique health and cultural needs of members of the Cambodian community, both here in Greater Lowell and in Cambodia as well.”
