The following information was provided by the Westford Police Department.

June 29, 1:19 a.m.– An officer was dispatched to Beaver Brook Road  for a noise complaint and possible vandalism.

After arriving on scene, the officer spoke to a resident who reported that there was no damage to his property and nothing had been stolen.

He had previously heard laughing that sounded like kids vandalizing his car, but when he and the officer looked over the vehicle he determined nothing was wrong.

No one was found walking around after a search of the area.

June 28, 3:55 p.m.– After a call involving a threat to a dog, an officer was dispatched to investigate the situation.

A woman who owned a boxer/pit bull said that she had been doing yard work while her dog was tied to a runner line outside.

When another woman walked by the house with her own pit bull, the homeowner’s dog broke off the runner and ran to the other dog.  Although the boxer did not bite the other dog, they did wrestle for a bit.

The homeowner apologized and after an initial inspection, it was determined that nothing was wrong with the pit bull.

Approximately twenty minutes later, a man came to the woman’s door, claiming that his dog (the pit bull) had been injured and was clearly upset.

The woman assured him that she would pay for the vet bill, but as he was walking away, she heard him say “she had better keep her dog locked up because he does not want to come back with his gun.”

She did not want to press charges but simply wanted the incident on file.

Officers later found the man who allegedly made the comment about the gun. He told the officer that he told the woman he was concerned someone else may have a gun and shoot the dog if it attacked another dog or a child.

June 26, 11:57 p.m.– Multiple cars were dispatched after an officer called for assistance at the Sunset Tiki Bar.

Three patrons had become unruly and begun walking down Powers Road.

One officer made contact with the three men and ordered them into the back of his cruiser.

At this point, one of the men started using profanity and making threatening gestures.  Because he was intoxicated, the officer thought he might soon become violent and handcuffed the individual.

After three more officers arrived, the three men were determined to be able to function and care for themselves and were advised to find a responsible party to drive them home.

They were then able to contact a friend to pick them up and custody was turned over to the friend.
