The Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital will celebrate the spirit of cancer survivors, their families and caregivers at the Eighth Annual Survivorship Day on Friday, September 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway Street, Lowell.

The event honors cancer survivors and their families and hopes to inspire the recently diagnosed through sharing their compelling stories of hope and courage. The event continues to grow each year, prompting its move to the senior center from Lowell General’s main campus.

This year’s event will also include a candlelight ceremony, food, music, raffles door prizes and much more. Last year’s event raised over $2,000 for our Survivorship Fund. Money raised by the fund goes to a cancer survivor or a survivor’s family.
