The Westford Farmers Market (WFM) will be kicking off its 10th annual season on Tuesday, June 21st. The market will run every Tuesday from 2:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. through October 25th on the Town Common. Additional parking is now available in designated spots near Town Hall next to the fire station starting at 4:00 p.m. This year the farmer’s market will be offering “Bonus Bucks” with the redemption of SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program). 100% of the contributions made toward this program go directly to the families in need.

Please contact Sustainable Westford at info@SustainableWestford.org if you would like to make an individual contribution.
The Westford Farmers Market will be welcoming back Dragonfly Farm, Nissitissit Apiaries, and Bagel Alley for their 10th season with the WFM! Flats Mentor Farms, Carlson Orchards, Gaouette Farm, and Farmer Dave will be showcasing their fresh, sustainably farmed vegetables, Asian greens, fruits, and berry varieties. Myco Terra Farm is new this year, supplying locally grown mushrooms, including shiitake, oysters and mushroom croquettes, as well as mushroom-based skin care, soaps, and lotions.
In addition to welcoming back returning produce vendors and new farms, Samosa Man Exotic Foods, You Love Bakery, Valicenti Pasta Farm, Calcutta Curry, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and Kabob House are eager to share their natural ingredient-based menus, featuring Southeast Asian, Indian, Middle eastern and Greek inspired food items. There’s more good news, voted ‘WFM’s Favorite Vendor’ 4 years ago, the market is welcoming back Samira’s Homemade, specializing in ‘ful medames’, the national dish of Egypt. These prepared foods at the market will add to the community’s sense of diverse ethnic culture, and provide a wide selection of fresh local foods, perfect for dinner.

Other vendors such as Wildtree, SA’s Homestyle, Nu3Kidz, Happy Cat, Purple Carrot Bread, Muddy Waters Coffee, and Aaronap Cellars will be making appearances at the market throughout the season as well. Caroline’s Kitchen and Carolyn’s Farm Kitchen will be offering seasonal varieties of jams and jellies, while many vendors will be offering all natural boxed bread mixes, muffin mixes, pancake mixes, and gluten free options. As a trial vendor, Clover Food Truck will be checking out our Farmers Market.
Customers can also expect to find local crafts such as handcrafted wind chimes and glasswork made from recycled silverware and garden glass. Children’s activities, education, and live music entertainment will also add to the creativity and diversity for attendees.
All of the farms at the farmer’s market practice sustainable agriculture techniques and limit the use of pesticides and herbicides, which complements Westford’s wholesome sense of community observed at the farmer’s market. With the variety and multitude of fresh and nutritious produce, prepared foods, crafts, activities, and live entertainment, residents can reduce their carbon footprint by supporting local businesses and engaging in sustainable ideas during the 10th annual Westford Farmers Market season!
