Westford Waves Finish Second In State Tournament

The Westford Waves 12U softball squad finished second in the State Tournament held in Taunton July 9-10.  One of 49 teams competing in the Massachusetts Junior Olympics Amateur Softball Association, the Waves defeated teams from New Bedford, Dighton, Swansea, Newton and Taunton before falling in the championship game to Grafton, 2-1.  The team is comprised of girls from Westford and Littleton.
