Would you like help to produce professional YouTube videos for your business? Do you have a hobby or interest that you’d like to share with others? Have you ever wanted to host your own TV show? Classes are available to help you make the most of the resources available at your local TV station. These training programs are open to all residents of Westford free of charge. Orientation Night: An Introduction to WestfordCAT
In this session you will be introduced to the equipment, services, and classes available at WestfordCAT. Get a tour and demo of our studio and edit suite and see all the equipment we make available to the public to create programs for our channels and website. Learn how to reserve recording equipment, studio time, or time in our edit suite by attending this orientation. Camera Operation Training
Learn to operate the JVC High Definition Video Camera. In this hands-on training session we will discuss its basic features as well as important menu options that can either help you make amazing video, or cause unwanted problems. During the class, you will set up a camera, adjust the settings and record a short interview. Instructed by: Steve Edwards, Program Coordinator. Thur., Sept. 22 at 6 PM – 8 PM
Editing With Adobe’s Premiere Pro CS6
Learn to edit video using Adobe’s advanced professional video editing software. Learn to capture footage, add cuts and fades, music, graphics, and more. A full, professional-level digital video editing program, Premiere Pro CS6 gets more speed, a simplified user interface, and new trimming and color tools. Instructor: Steve Edwards will lead this class. Reservations are required as this class is limited to 4 students per session. Tues., Oct. 4 & Thur., Oct. 6, 6-8pm
