“Grab a Glass,” a wine and craft beer tasting will be held Saturday, Oct 22, 7 p.m. at the Roudenbush Community Center in Westford.  Enjoy tastings and learn about wines and craft beers from local wineries and vendors including Craft Beer Cellar, Merrimack Ales, Aaronap Wines, WineNot Boutique, Lineage Wine Selection, Worldwide Wine of N.E., Imported Grapes, LLC, Latitude Beverage Company and Kobrand Wine and Spirits. Experience tasty bites from Evviva Cucina, Rangoli Grill, Whole Foods, Hubba’s Real Pit BBQ, Cavedoni Balsamic, Concord Teacakes, Cabot Cheese and others.There will be games, drawings, and it will be a great night out! Beginner Guitar: 630 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. Learn the fundamentals of tuning and caring for your guitar, holding the pick, how to read chord diagrams and simple strum patterns.  You’ll learn 2 popular chords and will play 3 songs by the end of class.  Participants must bring their own guitar, fully stringed and tuned.  Cost: $38/$35.

Intuition 101: 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3. The class will discuss the connection to brainwaves, the subconscious mind and mindfulness, followed by diving into everyday symbols as tools for feedback and inner guidance. Guided visualizations.  Participants need to wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, eye covering and pen and paper. Cost: $43/$40.

Doggie Fun Games Dog Training: 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.  This class will test your dog’s training progress with engaging games. Each game is designed to test one or more skills in a seriously fun way, providing feedback to the owner or handler about what is working and where to concentrate future training efforts. Children and teens welcome, accompanied by an adult. Cost: $34/$31.

Children’s Art Classes:

Grades 2 to 4, 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Oct. 18 to Nov. 8

Grades 4 to 8, 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Oct. 19 to Nov. 9

Cost: $81/$78, Materials fee of $8 paid to Instructor.

Glass Painting Workshop: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. Create a pair of painted glasses and explore the art of glass painting.  No experience required and all materials will be provided. Children unaccompanied by an adult should be old enough to work independently. Cost: $28/$25 single, $43/$40 parent/child.

Watercolor Painting: 11 to 1 p.m. or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays Oct. 18 to Nov. 22.  The class, for all levels, will cover the basic tools and some advanced watercolor techniques. The theme will be Classic Barns. Cost: $128/$125.

Beer Soap Making, 18 and over: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. The natural sugars in beer add extra lather to soap and create a nice creamy and conditioning bar.  Together, the class will make a couple of batches of beer soap using different beers and a variety of beer-like fragrances. Students will go home with handouts, recipes and four bars of soap made in class.  Cost: $70/$67.
