In the Gallery Sundays in October, 12 – 2 p.m.  Donna Berger Award-winning painter and illustrator Donna Berger is featured in the gallery through October 30th. Berger’s work includes expressive realism portraits, life drawings, and sketches of children, people, and pets created using acrylics on canvas, and ink, crayons, and colored pencils on paper.

Berger’s interest in art started at a young age, taking classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art and later at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her passion for art continued through college, first as an art major at Bowling Green State University and then graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cameron University. Berger works as a graphic designer in Andover where she also curates employee art shows and teaches drawing. After hours, she is an artist-in-residence at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. Free and open to the public.

Barn Dance  Saturday, Oct 22, 7:30 p.m.Fourth Saturday evenings of the months October – April.  Music provided by OH, CONTRAire!  Various callers.  Come at 7:00pm for our Beginner’s Workshop and get into the dance for FREE! Fee: $5 adults, $3 kids, maximum $15 per family

Open Mic Night Sunday, Oct 23, 6:30 p.m. Join us for regular Open Mic Nights on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Share a song, tune or poem with a roomful of supportive listeners.  If you’ve never played in front of an audience before, this is a great place to start. If you’re an old hand at performing, it’s a great place to meet others and share your talents with new performers. A professional or semi-professional act is featured at each open stage around 9 pm. $5 cover.

Nashoba Players present 45 Seconds From Broadway  Oct 28, 29, Nov 4, 5 8:00 p.m. Set in the “Polish Tea Room” – the converted ballroom of the NY theater district’s Edison Hotel and in reality “Café Edison” – Neil Simon focuses his attention on a variety of café patrons.  Drop in for visit into the ongoing lives of the café owners and their customers over a year’s time.
