State Rep. James Arciero recently attended the Annual Gala of the  Roudenbush Community Center where Westford resident Nancy Cook was named 2017 Person of the year.

The award recognizes a community leader who dedicates his or her time and efforts as a volunteer in the community.   Known for her many efforts in the town of Westford over the years, especially in suicide awareness, Nancy Cook is known for her generosity and ability to get things done. The annual event also serves as a critical fundraiser for the center which is a privately funded organization which offers community programs to the residents of Westford.

As part of the gala Arciero presented Cook with an official Resolution from the Massachusetts House of Representatives to mark her many achievements and to honor her selection as Person of the Year.
