Nashoba Valley Technical High School welcomed bout 175 freshmen to the school with a two-day orientation led by mentors from the junior class.

The 34 mentors were trained to coordinate and run orientation, and to act as mentors to the freshmen throughout the school year, helping them to acclimate themselves to the school, and being available at all times to assist and answer questions.

Students are chosen to be mentors by staff at the end of their sophomore year.

Edward Landers, a junior from Westford, is a mentor for the Class of 2020.
