J.V. Fletcher Adult Book Discussion Group: Thurs., May 10 at 7:30 p.m. Please join us to discuss “The Hello Girls” by Elizabeth Hoffman Cobbs.  Copies of the current reading selection are available for check-out at the Main Desk.  New members are always welcome.  No registration required.

Look for the Library’s entry in the Apple Blossom Parade on Saturday, May 12. The highly anticipated annual Westford Kiwanis Sponsored Apple Blossom Parade will march along Main Street for the 50th time. Traditionally this is the event where the Library Children’s Dept. entry in the Parade “announces” the theme for their upcoming Children’s Summer Reading Program. We hope to see you there.

Wowbrary!:  The library offers weekly email alerts that showcase our newest items.  The alert features the latest bestsellers, movies, music, audiobooks, children’s titles, and more purchased by the library.  You can quickly review and reserve our newest items from the convenience of your computer or mobile device.  To sign up for Wowbrary!  Go to http://www.wowbrary.org or follow the links on our website.

Reader’s Resources:  Wondering what to read next?  Can’t remember the next title in your favorite mystery series? Perhaps you would like to join an online or library book club? Town Wide Yard Sale: Book Donations: Are you participating in the town wide yard sale on April 29?  If you have any leftover books, DVDs, audiobooks or LPs, please consider donating them to the Friends of the library for the next book sale. When the library is open, please leave items at the Janiece Greenberg door: it’s the first door on the left after entering the back entrance.  When the library is closed, please leave donations in the large, marked container by the back door.

Link to Literacy: This is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization devoted to enabling adults who have joined us from other cultures to read, write and speak American English more effectively. Training and materials are provided to tutors. Tutors work with their students at the library. To pick up a tutor or student application, or for more information, stop by or contact the Information Services department at 978-399-2304.

English Conversation Circle: 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays in the Mary Atwood room. Attendees will practice their English conversation skills and meet new friends in a relaxed and friendly environment.
