Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, the Acton Police Department and the Acton Fire Department will host a summer safety event Friday, July 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. District Attorney Marian Ryan will deliver remarks and issue a water safety advisory at 11:45 a.m. The simulated drowning and rescue demonstration will begin at 12 p.m. Event will feature car seat inspections and installations, a simulated drowning and rescue demonstration, an opportunity to explore emergency vehicles and summer safety resources. Attendees will be able to visit with first responders, get summer safety resources and enter a free raffle to win a playground ball.
