The J.V. Fletcher Library is holding an adult book discussion on July 12 at 7:30 p.m. “Sacco and Vanzetti” by Bruce Watson will be discussed. Copies are available for check-out at the Main Desk. The rock band, Big Head Todd & The Monsters is playing on July 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Boarding House Park, as part of the Lowell Music Series this summer. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and low lawn chairs to enjoy a night under the stars. Tickets in advance are $37 per person and $40 on the day of the concert. A premium ticket will cost $137. Residents can purchase tickets at http://lowellsummermusic.org.
The Nashoba Valley Concert Band will play on Sunday, July 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Westford Town Common. This is the first in a series of summer musical performances, sponsored by the town’s Recreation Department. Residents can visit westfordrec.org for more information. The event is free-of-charge.
