Great food and altruism will go hand-in-hand on Sept. 20 when patrons of Bamboo Fine Asian Cuisine in Westford make a purchase in the dining room or for take-out.
The Live for Liv Foundation will receive 20 percent of all sales that day if patrons mention the organization’s name.
The non profit Live for Liv Foundation raises awareness and helps victims of domestic violence.
Each year, board members select a graduating Westford Academy student to receive a scholarship for college. They also grant a significant, varying sum of money to give to Alternative House, a Lowell shelter for female victims of domestic violence.
The organization is newly focused on providing transitional housing for women in need of a safe place to live after receiving in August a $10K grant from Eastern Bank to support the mission.
