The Friends of Nashoba are hosting the seventh annual Haunted 5K Road Race on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.
The 5K starts at 10 a.m., and there will be a fun run for kids at 9:30 a.m.
It is a family-friendly race, and everyone is welcome to walk, jog or run, with or without a costume. It’s an officially timed race, and prizes will be awarded in several age categories, as well as for best costume.
The registration fee is $10 for students 18 and under, $25 for adults 19-59, and $15 for those 60 and older. Register at www.lightboxreg.com and search for Friends of Nashoba 5K Walk-in registration begins at 8 a.m., on race day. Sponsors and volunteers are also sought.
