The Westford Conservation Trust is having its annual fall meeting on Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Parish Center for the Arts, 10 Lincoln St, Westford at 7 p.m.

A short meeting will be followed by guest speaker Jennifer Forman-Orth, a environmental biologist with the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, who will present Nature’s Invaders – Invasive Plants in our Environment.

Jennifer Forman Orth will give an up-close and personal look at the very worst invasive plants growing in Massachusetts, from mile-a-minute vine, to Asiatic bittersweet to giant hogweed. Attendees will learn how to recognize these invaders, what they can do about them, and how to make smart choices about what’s in the garden. Questions from the audience will be welcome.

The event is free of charge.  Refreshments will be served.
