Westford Academy’s Art Club added a pottery component this year to the creative after school options. The club was started for students who couldn’t fit art into their academic schedules.
“This year we added pottery…We’re getting them used to a new medium,” said club co-advisor Julie Cook who oversees the students together with art teacher Kelly Fitzsimmons.
Cook was interviewed by WA senior, Morgan Freud.
Club presidents are Ellis Dunn Benson and Julia Lopoer.
The club was featured in WestfordCAT’s “After the Bell” segment.
