The Library will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in observance of Veteran’s Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.

Lego® Club: Saturday, Nov. 10 from 2 to 3 p.m.  The library will supply the Legos® and display space. All creations will be displayed in the library. Free, drop-in for ages 5 and up with a parent or caregiver.

J.V. Fletcher Adult Book Discussion Group: Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. Please join us to discuss “The Residence” by Kate Andersen Brower. Copies of the current reading selection are available for check-out at the Main Desk.  New members are always welcome and no registration is required.

Cookbook Club: Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. The Cookbook Club is dedicated to exploring cookbooks and sampling new recipes. Members meet on the third Thursday of the month. The November pick is The Chopped Cookbook by The Food Network. Copies are available for check out at the Main Desk. Those who would like to bring a dish from the cookbook (not required to participate), are asked to contact Sarah Regan in the Information Services Department at 978-399-2309. No registration required.

Pajama Story Time: Monday, Nov. 19 from 6:30-7 p.m. Children can come in their pajamas and bring a favorite animal or blanket. Parents and younger siblings will enjoy the Children’s room while Pajama Time is in session in the Story Hour Room. This is a drop-in program.

Advanced Snap Circuits and Takeaparts: Friday, Nov. 20 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. We have five exciting Snap Circuits kits to play with: RC Cars, Light, Motion, Arcade, and 3D Illumination. Preregister online. This free program is for children in grades 3 to 5.

Monday Mystery Book Club: Monday, Nov. 26 at 10:30 a.m. Wake up your week with a stimulating book discussion. The group meets on the fourth Monday morning of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the Mary Atwood Room. The November selection is The Decider by Dick Francis. Copies of the current selection are available for check-out at the Main Desk. New members are always welcome and no registration required

Knitting Group: Monday, Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m. The informal Knitting Group meets in the Mary Atwood Room on the second Monday of every month from 3 to 5 p.m. AND the fourth Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is a drop-in program that is open to all ages. Those with questions can call Sarah Regan at 978-399-2309.

Pastel Paint Like the Masters: Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. Greg Maichack demonstrates how beginners to accomplished artists can paint using the techniques of Georgia O’Keefe. Participants will produce their own pastel painting of a selected section of O’Keefe’s mural, “The Miracle Flower.” Ages 16 and up. Residents are asked to register online or in Information Services. All materials are provided. Limited to 30. Ages 16 and up.

English Conversation Circle: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. The English Conversation Circle is starting up again. The group has resumed its weekly meetings. They meet every Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Mary Atwood Room. Practice your English conversation skills and meet new friends in a relaxed and friendly environment led by Carol Morse. Registration is not required.  Those with questions are asked to call Sarah Regan in Information Services at 978-399-2309.

Westford Job Seekers: One of the most effective ways to find a job is through networking. The Westford Job Seekers Network meets from 2-4:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Library.
