Jack Wang, host of Personal Finance Playbook, discusses taxes with Lisa Wright of BooksWright Advisors of Arlington and Westford.
The two covered the topic of tax planning. Wright said it’s not unusual for people to consult their tax advisors after they’ve made a big, financial decision such as using retirement funds to start a business or sending a child to college.
“Then it’s too late because it’s been done,” she said. “We can try to fix it and do what we can to mitigate or alleviate the problem it has caused. But what I try to tell my clients, ‘please if you have anything come up during the year, don’t be afraid to call me.'”
Wright also offers a series of year-end tax tips.
