Here are suggestions for things to do in and around Westford.

The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library February book sale begins Friday, Feb. 8 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for library members, and continues for the general public on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, February 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. For more information, visit westfordlibrary.org.

The annual Chocolate Festival at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. For a small fee, chocolate lovers can indulge their desires while helping to fund local food pantries. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 6 – 12. Children 5 and under are free. For more information, call (978) 692-7849.

Make Valentine keepsakes at a “Mommy and me” class on Wednesday, Feb. 13, starting at 10:30 a.m., at the Westford Pottery Studio, 108 Lowell Road. This Roudenbush-sponsored event is for 6 month old babies and up. The children’s hands and feet will be stamped in air dry clay. The clay shapes can be painted to make wall hangings and other clay art. The workshop fee is $30 for Westford residents and includes admission for one child; $33 dollars for non residents. Each additional child will be charged $10. To register, visit roudenbush.org.
