CAMERON SENIOR CENTER: Weekly Trail Walks Kick Off, JULY 10

The Cameron Senior Center welcomes Elana Schreiber to lead weekly trail walks and share her vast knowledge of local flora and fauna. A retired science teacher, Schreiber leads the Annual John Gagnon Memorial Walk each year. Schreiber for  25 years in the Newton School system.

The first trail walk will be on the Prospect Hill Trail (1.5-2 miles) on Wednesday, July 10 at 9:30 a.m.  The walkers will leave from Muffins on Main (located at 40 main Street). At the end of this enriching trail walk all will be treated to a selected baked item from Muffins on Main.

Editor’s note: Participants are asked to wear light colored long pants and socks. Schreiber will provide a brief overview of tick safety at the start of this trail walk.
