Bronx, is a 5-year-old domestic short hair cat from New York City who ended up at the Lowell Humane Society in April. Bronx has had the time to settle into his surroundings, according to the the shelter’s Fundraising and Marketing Director, Crystal Arnott. Bronx and his brother Hart “were taken immediately from the streets and into the (New York City) shelter. They weren’t given any time to decompress and they were very, very stressed and agitated,” said Arnott.

A family brought the pair to Massachusetts but were unable to care for them. Bronx “is a very, very sweet boy; he is very affectionate, loves being petted and giving head butts but does need a family that will let him settle in slowly,” said Arnott. “He will mostly likely hide for the first couple weeks…but once he feels safe…he is very sweet, very playful, and loves to play with toys,” Arnott said.

Hart has since been adopted but Bronx is still looking for his forever home.
