OPIOID INFORMATIONAL PROGRAM

The Westford Health Department and Westford Against Substance Abuse (WASA), will hold an Opioid Informational Program on July 24.

The program will feature a PowerPoint presentation to include; how the brain reacts to Opioids and other drugs, how Narcan works to temporarily stop the overdose, what is happening in town regarding opioid statistics, and a demonstration for Hands-Only CPR.

Multiple CPR mannequins will be available for hands on practice

There will be Finger Sandwiches and Kimball’s Ice Cream for all.

Date: July 24                         

Time: 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Location: Nabnasset Country Club, 47 Oak Hill Rd Westford

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by calling the Westford Health Department 978-692-5509 to register by Friday, July 19. A maximum of 50 people can register for this program
