The Town of Westford in conjunction with Westford’s Fire and Police Departments will hold its annual 9/11 Memorial Service on Wednesday, Sept. 11, beginning at 9:55 a.m. Westford’s Honor Guard, members of the Police and Fire Department, representatives of the town of Westford, State Rep. James Arceiro, and others will be in attendance at the 9/11 Memorial in the Public Safety Courtyard adjacent to Town Hall at 55 Main Street. There will be a moment of silence, poetry readings, the sounding of Last Call, wreaths laid, and words of remembrance and appreciation for the 2,977 men, women, and children who lost their lives in a series of terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
