The Westford Knights girls under-13 soccer team blanked Mass Young Gunners 4-0 on Sunday, Sept. 15 in local Northeast Soccer League (NSL) action.

The Knights seized a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal from Macie Bast. Bast blasted in a rebound off a penalty kick save. In the second half, Bast netted her second goal while Ella Pantoja notched two of her own. Olivia Cipriano and Olivia Marcouillier combined for the season’s second shutout.

The Knights opened the fall season with a 3-0 win over MAF Soccer Academy on September 8. Ella Pantoja got the scoring started in the first half with a left-footed laser off a nice assist by Olivia Marcouillier. Second half goals were scored by Kaelyn Powell and Kate Kelly.

The Knights improve to 2-0-0 and host Old School SC on September 22 in Westford.
