The U13 Westford Junior Ghost baseball team is having a remarkable season.

The team comprised of all Westford boys, is playing in the Elite Baseball League, one of New England’s premier baseball organizations. Playing against mainly “club” teams (teams made up of kids from several surrounding towns), the Westford Ghosts have gone 20-4 this season and this past weekend (Aug. 8 and 9) secured the number 1 seed in the 2020 playoffs.

Their run for a championship begins this Saturday, Aug. 15, at Forge Field in Westford in a double header versus “Legends Gold.” Games start at 10 a.m.

They follow that up with another doubleheader on Sunday at Forge Field versus “Freedom Blue,” games start at 2 p.m.
