Westford Health Director Jeff Stephens talks with WestfordCAT’s Patty Stocker about the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine Phase 2 – who is eligible, when the vaccines are available, and how many doses should arrive in Westford. He also provides information on how eligible Phase 2 vaccine recipients can find vaccination sites throughout the area.

“What we are doing in Westford is ordering vaccinations on Monday (February 1st)”, said Stephens. “We don’t know how many we’re going to get. The state has told us that sometimes allotments may be as few as 100 and there isn’t much we an do about that. So we will put our order in and whatever we get, we will vaccinate as many people we can per shipment.”

Stephens also said that there will be more than one vaccine clinic in Westford and it will take time for all of those in Phase 2 to receive it. Any resident who is having difficulty registering can reach out to the Cameron Senior Center for assistance.

Eligible recipients need to register for the vaccine at mass.gov or find the link on the Westford Health Department website.
