Mark Timothy Garcia, 34, of Westford was arraigned in Ayer District Court, April 10, on $4,000 cash bail after being arrested for possession of drugs and an unlicensed firearm.

According to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Garcia  is charged with trafficking out of his Cold Spring Road home more than 100 grams of cocaine, trafficking over 200 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm without a license, possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, possession of ammunition without a license and using a firearm while committing a felony in connection with allegedly dealing cocaine as well as other narcotics at a residence located in Westford.

During the execution of this search warrant, Ryan stated, investigators found a scale and individual ‘deal bags’ consistent with drug transactions. Narcotics, cash and other items were seized, including $31,876 cash, one firearm, 109 grams of cocaine, 4 pounds of marijuana, 770 tabs of LSD, two bottles of codeine, 113 grams of THC edibles, 10 grams of ketamine, 78 grams of MDMA, 5 oxycodone pills, 41 grams of crushed amphetamine, six pill bottles full of amphetamine pills and 415 grams of methamphetamine.

Of the 415 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 387 grams were clandestinely pressed to resemble trademark “adderall” pills. These clandestinely pressed methamphetamine pills are an emergence in the Westford area.

Garcia was arrested, according to Ryan, and arraigned in Ayer District Court. Garcia will wear a location monitoring bracelet and remain under house arrest. His pre-trial court hearing is scheduled for May 14, according to Ayer District Court Specialist Tina Ramos.
