Boston area weather forecast: 90 today with scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Cooler tomorrow, 70s, but still humid. Elsa is forecast to go over the Cape Friday. This would produce the strongest winds and heaviest rain over the Cape and Islands. As you go northwest of Boston, the main effect would be rain. Highest winds would be in coastal areas. Behind the storm, the warm and humid weather will resume.
