State Representative James Arciero of Westford and State Senator Ed Kennedy of Lowell recently hosted their 13th Annual Westford Senior Cookout to honor the seniors of Westford. The annual barbecue is held to give seniors an opportunity to meet with their elected state officials in a fun and friendly atmosphere. It was the first cookout hosted since 2019, as Kennedy, Arciero and their staffs cooked and served hot dogs and hamburgers. This year’s event was held at the Franco-American Club and offered those who were concerned with Covid an opportunity to get a to-go meal to take home. In addition to the food, entertainment was offered by the local band, The Upbeats. The event ended with a cake dessert. Pictured are Representative Arciero and Mickey Crocker cutting the cake.
